What the heck does that mean, you ask?
Simply put, I’ve accepted a job offer from a major US airline to become a flight attendant! (Yep, still pretty shocked about it myself. My life’s about to take a total 180!)
In a little over a month, I’ll be relocating to Dallas, Texas for training, in which I will quite literally train to become a professional jetsetter. To say I’m excited would be an understatement.
With this (fairly massive) change, I’ll be revamping Jetsetter-in-Training to more closely align with my new lifestyle. I’ll be starting a new series called “Shelley in the Skies”, in which I’ll document my journey into this new profession – everything from the application process, to training, to reserve – and I’ll also dive into what the lifestyle is like, what cool new places I get to explore on layovers, and the adventuring I’ll do in my new base!
Through all of that, however, I will still update the site with the same types of content I’ve been posting so far – 3-day itineraries, first-timer guides, travel-product reviews, and more.
As this new journey of mine gets underway, I’d love to hear any feedback on what you’d like to see on the site. Is there any content in particular you’d enjoy? Any features or series requests? Drop me a note in the comments below!
Thanks for reading – catch you in the skies!
